Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, August 17, 2019, in the 700 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast.
At approximately 8:46 am, a vehicle approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and fired at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
