Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1500 Block of Benning Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, July 29, 2019, in the 1500 block of Benning Road, Northeast.

 

At approximately 1:28 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspects then fled the scene.

 

On Monday, September 2, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). Additionally, on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, a 41 year-old adult male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault.
