Rapid Re-Housing for Individuals (RRH-I) is a short-term subsidy program that assists individuals experiencing homelessness with stabilizing in housing, providing case management to support an individual’s goals, and working with individuals to identify and successfully exit the program to affordable permanent housing.
Rental assistance and support services are provided for up to 12 months based on the individual's needs.
Through the program, individuals receive:
- First month’s rent and security deposit;
- A basic furniture package and moving assistance; and
- Rental assistance and case management during the time they are in the program (up to 12 months).
Individuals are assessed for RRH-I through the District’s Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHP) system.
