Announcing Solicitation for Property Offers- SFO

The District of Columbia’s Office of Property Management (OPM) is seeking offers for qualifying properties that meet the following criteria for consideration by the Department of Human Services (DHS) for its program needs:

  • Requirements: 10 - 30 unit vacant apartment buildings that are comprised primarily of two (2) and three (3) bedroom units, someone (1) bedroom units acceptable. Ground floor retail is required.
  • Locations/Delineated Area: Within the boundaries of the District of Columbia, metro accessible
  • Tentative Settlement Date: 4th Quarter 2009
  • Use: Primarily residential
  • Parking: Not less than one parking space per every two units is preferable
  • Sales Price: Negotiable: subject to reasonableness, confirmation by appraisal
  • Condition of Space: It is preferable that buildings are offered/delivered completely renovated, vacant and ready to occupy. Buildings that include units that are accessible according to the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG standard) are preferable.
  • Deadline: 12 noon, July 1, 2009

Interested and/or authorized individuals with qualifying properties must complete DC OPM Form S-104.

This solicitation for offers should not be considered an offer to purchase and the Government of the District of Columbia reserves the right to withdraw its solicitation at any time.

Offers including completed forms should be returned to Regina Payton and all proposals should clearly reference Solicitation No. OPM-SFO-IN-2009-10 and be mailed or delivered to:
