RESIDENTS SERVED AT E STREET

The E Street’s non-congregate bridge housing model serves three main populations:

Accessing Short-Term Family Housing

HOW RESIDENTS ACCESS E STREET THROUGH COORDINATED ENTRY

Individuals and families are connected to E Street through the District’s Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement (CAHP) process, which ensures standardized access and referrals based on program criteria so that people experiencing homelessness receive appropriate assistance with both immediate and long-term housing and service needs.

THE E STREET COMMUNITY ADVISORY TEAM (CAT)

Drawing from the very successful Aston Community Advisory Team, E Street has a dedicated Community Advisory Team (CAT) made up of residents, experts, and key District agency representatives. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring E Street’s success through open communication, transparency, and collaboration. The CAT provides valuable feedback on issues such as resident quality of life, maintenance of the property, and the construction process. The CAT also provides a place for the community to have a voice and stay informed about what's happening.

For questions or issues related to the Community Advisory Team, please email CAT co-chairs Hans Ritanch ([email protected]), Dale Prince ([email protected]), and Sakina Thompson ([email protected]).
