Arrests Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 1200 Block of I Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District have announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, August 31, 2019, in the 1200 block of I Street, Southeast.

 

At approximately 6:10 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and fired at the victims. The suspects then fled the scene.

 

  1. Sunday, September 1, 2019, a 14 year-old juvenile male and a 15 year-old juvenile male, both of Southwest, DC, and were arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
