Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 1200 Block of 22nd Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, in the 1200 block of 22nd Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 3:20 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, 29 year-old Jamar Copeland, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
