Transportation Services

Morning Transportation Schedules for Women

In the morning, women who are shelter residents at Nativity Shelter (formerly Hermano Pedro) receive Metro tokens for transportation. Women who are residents at the Harriet Tubman shelter, the New Covenant Baptist Church, and the Community of Christ Church will be transported to programs as shown in the following schedule.

* These sites do not remain open after 7 am during daytime hypothermia alerts, so transportation from the New Covenant Baptist Church and the Community of Christ Church is provided only during daytime hypothermia alerts. On alert mornings, the Hotline will call these sites to determine if service is needed. Pickups are made only when there are women at these churches who request transportation.

Evening Transportation Schedules for Women

In the evening, women who are shelter residents at Nativity Shelter (formerly Hermano Pedro) will be transported to Nativity Shelter (formerly Hermano Pedro) from the Sacred Heart Church. Additionally, women will be transported from the corner of 4th and E Streets NW to Harriet Tubman, New Covenant Baptist Church, and the Community of Christ Church.
