Homeless Services

The Homeless Services Program oversees the provision of homeless services to individuals and families in the District of Columbia.

Programs:  Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program, Veterans Administration Supportive Housing Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Emergency, Temporary and Transitional Shelter, Hypothermia ProgramShelter Monitoring and Quality Assurance.

How to Obtain Benefits: Families needing homeless services are processed through the Virginia Williams Family Resource Center, located at 920 Rhode Island                                       Avenue NE Washington, DC, 20002, or call (202) 724-4208. Individuals seeking shelter should report to a shelter site for services.
